What will I need to receive services at CRS?
To receive our services, you will need either a smartphone or a computer with video capability. These devices will need to have a working camera, speakers, and microphone. You will also need to be actively enrolled in an insurance plan. To find out how to enroll in MassHealth go to https://www.mass.gov/masshealth-plans-and-enrollment-guide or call the MassHealth Customer Service Center at (800) 841-2900, TTY: (800) 497-4648. To sign up for Medicare go to https://www.medicare.gov/basics/get-started-with-medicare or call their Customer Support at 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227), TTY: 1-877-486-2048. What if I don't have a smartphone or computer?
The Subsidized Phone and Internet Service Lifeline is a federal program that provides no cost or low-cost phone service to low income househoulds. If you qualify, your household can get one Lifeline benefit for phone or internet service. You can check your eligibility for the Lifeline program at www.lifelinesupport.org/do-i-qualify .

What is telebehavioral health?
Telebehavioral health is the use of live video conferencing to deliver care to patients. The sessions are provided by health professionals, such as mental health clinicians, social workers, psychiatrists, and physicians. Instead of having to get to a clinic, patients can see and talk with their provider in the comfort and convenience of their own home, or another private location of your choosing with confidential and secure internet access.

Do I need to know a lot about computers to have a telebehavioral health session?
No, participating in a telebehavioral health session is very quick and easy. The technology you'll need to use is simple and user friendly. We will be here to guide you through every step of the process.

How fast does my internet speed need to be for a telehealth session?
Internet speed or bandwidth is the speed of your internet connection. For a telehealth session, you will need approximately 1.5 Mbps for both upload and download speeds to successfully use audio and video data. You can check your upload and download speeds at www.speedtest.net or simply enter "internet speed test" in the search engine/browser of your choice.

Is telebehavioral health private and confidential?
Yes, our telebehavioral health sessions are safe, secure, encrypted, private and HIPAA compliant. Your telebehavioral sessions are never recorded and your appointments are kept confidential following HIPAA guidelines.
